We adopted Logan a little over 2 years ago after we fell in love with this furry little lowrider! At the time, we were told that it was estimated Logan was around 11 years old and was found after being abandoned in Eastern Washington. He looked like he had never been groomed our taken to the vet and after visiting one, we were told he had arthritis and it would get increasingly worse over time if we didn't treat it. For the first year we had been feeding him glucosamine with meals and after that seemed to no longer help we switched to a combo of baby aspirin and a joint support supplement upon recommendation from our naturopath. That seemed to be maintaing Logan's pain, but it was obvious he was still stiff and lacked energy throughout the day other than little spurts here and there. Upon taking Logan to SCRUB-A-PUP last month, we were recommended DGP by Willis and the staff and given samples to take home. Discontinuing the normal aspirin and joint support tablets for the first 2 days, we noticed on the third day that our dog wasn't acting like 'our old man' anymore. In just a few days, he had developed a big pep in his step and has been running all over the house trying to play with me more and excited to go on walks! We have noticed no difference in appetite, bathroom habits, sleep patterns, or anything else we were concerned about with a new treatment and went back to buy the full bottle! Make no mistake, he's still a little old guy, but we have noticed a big change in his overall energy level and there seems to be little if no stiffness at all. We would highly recommend DGP for anyone who has a old four-legged friend that could use some help feeling better and if your experience is like ours has been then you'll be VERY happy.
